This Week's Three Realizations

Three miscellaneous things I have learned / realized over the past week:

1. Rosie loves acorn squash, but continues to hate most other vegetables.

2. Sipping a Bombay Sapphire martini on the couch around 10pm has twice caused me to fall asleep blissfully.

3. In a month, I'll be the same distance age-wise from 50 as I will be from 18.

i also discovered someone loved acorn squash this week...Matt.
How do you cook yours, I split in half, get rid of seeds, throw some butter and brown sugar into the hollow and bake for 45 mins or so...so you can scrap all the cooked squash into the butter mix and ....nummy:)

It's too late at night to do math, but I think this means you are going to be 34! : )

Yep, 34!

Re: acorn squash, I just roast it and eat it if it's sweet enough. Otherwise some butter does the trick for me :)

Arrr, that reminded me, I'll be same age as you after 29 days you hit 34.. Time seems to pass faster as we get older, I feel I have lesser time to accomplish things each day, so much to do but so little time. Any special wish this year?
