Hollywood overstaying its welcome in Southie

I don't care what you're filming in my neighborhood, or who is appearing in the production....when you, without forewarning, take up 25 overnight parking spots (although the sign says 5am, the spots were blocked last night), you're no longer welcome in Southie.

They did the same thing a couple weeks ago in the north end. Took all the parking spots on Hanover & Charter Streets, and I only counted one car from the production crew using a spot, the rest were all empty and blocked off. Now I don't have a car, because parking sucks enough as it is in the north end, and I even got pissed by this!

They are all over E Broadway, M and 4th Street for tomorrow. A lot of spots gone! Any idea which movie it is?

Maybe they want to film the street without cars?

I actually dont mind it at all, what bothers me is when guys that were nothing but scum and trash and drug dealers and punks start making Southie out to be their own. Then the people they put in the movie are all of the same scum bags, its gross, the real Southie people all feel the same the new southie doesnt know the difference and think its great.

When I was dating my ex (I St. & E. 7th), I used to park right where I think those trucks are parked. Thank goodness I'm not around there anymore! ;)
